The Fund for Santa Barbara is dedicated to advancing progressive change through the empowerment of movements striving for Economic, Environmental, Political, Racial, and Social Justice. However, their original logo fell short in capturing the breadth and depth of their support for grassroots nonprofit organizations in Santa Barbara County. To address this, we embarked on a mission to create a new logo that exudes warmth, inclusivity, and community spirit, effectively reflecting the diversity of their stakeholders and their multifaceted areas of commitment.

In the new logo, we aimed to convey the idea of attraction and unity among various elements. The magnetic pull within the mark is meticulously balanced, with each element gravitating towards one another while preserving their distinct identities. Additionally, the spherical shapes—intentionally created equal in size—incorporate a palette of five colors, each symbolizing The Fund's five core areas of justice.
